CONNECTING FAMILY PATHS
Connecting Family Paths (CFP) is a diversion program which supports families who have come to the attention of Child Protection Services. On July 1, 2020, FES signed a subcontract with Lutheran Services Florida to provide the counseling piece of the Diversion Program. The goal of the program is to maintain children safely in their homes with their families. Issues related to domestic violence, substance abuse, mental health and basic needs are addressed through this program. Case management, safety monitoring and parenting education are provided by Lutheran Services Florida. Counseling services are provided by Family Enrichment Services. These services are provided by masters level clinicians in the fields of Social Work, Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Counseling. Psychiatric services are also available as needed. These services are provided by a Psychiatric Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP). CFP services are provided for three to six months and families are seen in their homes a minimum of twice weekly but can be seen as often as needed to to ensure the continued safety of the children.
